New editor on Virtualtroll.com
I would like to introduce Nicolai sandager, which is joining this site as an editor and co-blogger. Nicolai and I have been working together in the virtualization area in Denmark for almost 2 years.
Nicolai is writing up his own profile, which will be available at this site soon.
The reason for this introduction is to hopefully kick some more action on the site, as I’ve been quite busy the latest period.
So, Nicolai, blog away ![]()
Info and links for VMworld Europe 2009 event in Cannes, France
It is a pleasure to announce that I’ve received a special blogger invite for VMware’s next big event - VMworld 2009 in Cannes. On this site, I will blog before, during and after the event, starting with this post.
Dates: 24-26 February at the The Palais des Festivals, Cannes.
This will be my forth VMworld event and it has always been a huge experience and quite educating. VMworld has different tracks and a big part of these are technical or deep technical, which is cool. There will also be numerous LAB sessions regarding VMware’s product line.
Furthermore a lot of 3rd party vendors and competitors are joining the event, both with sessions or with booths in the solutions exchange. This gives the possibility to talk to their people about their products as either add-on solutions or competitive info.
If you’re a technical minded person, I can only recommend attending the VMworld event.
For registration to the VMworld event click here: http://www.vmworld.com/community/conferences/europe2009/registration/
A preliminary agenda is available here: http://www.vmworld.com/community/conferences/europe2009/agenda
To view the list of sponsors and exhibitors click here: http://www.vmworld.com/community/conferences/europe2009/sponsors
And VMworld is also about networking with each other. This link takes you to the community discussions regarding the VMworld event: http://www.vmworld.com/community/conferences/europe2009/networking
More information will be available here regarding evening activities, such as the VMworld Party: http://www.vmworld.com/community/conferences/europe2009/networking/activities/
For partners, there will be a whole day reserved, read more here: http://www.vmworld.com/community/conferences/europe2009/agenda/partners/
VMware has opened up the “call for participation”, which enables anyone to submit a session. VMware is interested in real world experiences using their products. So, if you have a good case story, and want to tell about it, please submit before January 16th. Call for participation instructions can be found here: http://www.vmworld.com/static/cfp_europe_2009.pdf
To submit sessions use this link: http://www.vmworld.com/europe-cfp.jspa
And stay tuned for more information, of course on my blog and a lot more info will be available at http://www.vmworld.com
See you in Cannes!
